With all the fashion week talk that is flying around the world - I must say I wish I was in on all the action. Living back in London...pounding the pavement enroute to Somerset House...ready to see Giles, Christopher Kane or Erdem. High heels and even higher hopes for a new season of fresh fashion.
Anyway back to real life here in South Africa. I did decide to borrow some inspiration from afar and designed this new necklace. I am working on a range of them which has been both rewarding and challenging. Imagine me...twelve at night...sewing on buttons...cursing and wishing I could go to bed, but so involved that I have to finish. Imagine the next day at work...bleary eyed and still cursing due to being too tired. All worth it in the end...
